为民食品厂前身为董浜食品坊，经过二十多年的发展，特别是在进入新千年后，改为为民食品厂，生产地点也迁到了徐市，从此业务不断扩大，影响力剧增。现在生产的品种也多种多样，每年推出新的月饼品种，可以预订各种口味的广式或苏式的月饼。每年与几十家企事业单位达成协议，受到一致好评。
